On January 11th, Southern Cross Central Lakes Hospital was proud to have a stall at the Lake Hayes A&P Show. It was wonderful to see a strong turnout from locals, all eager to learn more about how the hospital is making surgical services more accessible for the people of Central Otago.
The conversations had underscored the growing need for a dedicated surgical hospital in this rapidly expanding region. Many former patients also took the opportunity to share their positive experiences and stories from their time at Southern Cross Central Lakes Hospital.
